Smokehouse is a local catering company serving businesses and private
clients in the Jackson, Mississippi metro area. The
company was founded in 2009 by partners Alonzo and Servia Fortenberry. The business has operated a catering
kitchen and specialized in full-service catering and event planning for upscale events
in the region at sporting events, client sites and event halls. S & L
Smokehouse became the number one choice three years in a row for the Jackson State/Alcorn
Capital City Classic golf tournament, the Urban League’s annual golf tournament
and the Lethell and Elvalene Legacy Celebration.

Our mission
is to offer a top-class event experience with flawless
execution to businesses, sporting events and private clients. We want
our guests to have the total dining experience when in the presence of S &
L Smokehouse. Our main focus is serving quality food at a great value. We feature
a large selection of freshly prepared food; most items on our menu are
prepared in full view of our guest. Our food is delicious, the
service is excellent and we strive to ensure that our guest is pleased with our
